Hi everyone, I have sort of strange problem with Edge and its policies. We are already with Edge Chromium, and I try to set a couple of useful links for users, when they open new tab. So I set "Set new tab page quick links" with only one link to test and nothing happen. No link was added to a new tab. I even set it as well by " Microsoft Edge - Default Settings (users can override)/Startup, home page and new tab page" but still nothing. The policy is applied for sure but this setting no. I copied as well the example from he group policy and only change the URL and name, the URL is as well https. Has someone an idea where could be the problem? THanks in advance

    Hi @Borislav Vitanov

Could you please provide the screenshot of this page edge://policy/ in Edge?

I made test with this policy and it works. I set the policy under path Administrative Templates/Microsoft Edge/Startup, home page and new tab page. Please note that you need to turn on Quick links in new tab page setting so that you can see the quick links.

    Hi @Anonymous

sorry for the delay. I was able to solved. The problem was a Winning GPO on the "main" OU, which kind of surprise me cause usually a GP on sub-OU should win. And yes, there was no information in the description that if you set it to about:blank then it will not work.

The only "issue" so far with policies are 3 settings which are grey out.

    AllowPopupsDuringPageUnload1PlatformDeviceMandatoryError

    ---MetricsReportingEnabled0PlatformDeviceMandatoryError

    ---SendSiteInfoToImproveServices0PlatformDeviceMandatoryError

they show value 0 and Unknown policy which is kind of strange.

    Thanks

    Hi @Borislav Vitanov

For the new issue of 3 policies, these three policies are obsolete and doesn't work after Microsoft Edge 87, 88. You could check the document:
