I have a new Samsung S24 that I can't receive notifications from Authenticator. I am trying to restore my account that was backed up in the cloud. I keep on getting prompted for "Check Microsoft Authenticator" but don't receive any notifications. I checked my settings and notifications are allowed for Authenticator. However, I don't receive any notifications and can't acknowledge the number that is shown in the Authenticator. I turned off the VPN on my phone but still don't receive any notifications. I tried running the app in the secure folder but sill not notifications. This is a personal account and not a school or company account.

Do you have any suggestions?

I had a similar issue, make sure you remove the MS account (whether it's a work, personal or school account you are having issues with) from your old phone. Then uninstall the Authenticator app from the old phone. See if you get notifications now on the S24. Also verify you have passwordless signin setup on your new phone. If that doesn't do it, then have your organization reset MFA on their end. If its a personal account, go to https://aka.ms/mfasetup and do it yourself... Chris
