■Edge information

Microsoft Edge for Business version 120.0.2210.144 (official build) (64 bit)

■Extended functions

My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension version 8.1.1.161

To take advantage of his password-based SSO in Azure AD (Entra ID), we utilize My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension.

SSO login to the web app itself is successful, but after that, accessing a specific external site using authenticated SSO from the logged in web app causes an error.

・If you turn off My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension in Manage Extensions, you can access it normally.

・Error does not occur when using the combination of Chrome and My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension for Chrome.

・I tried allowing "specific sites" in the "Site access" settings of My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension and allowing only web app URLs (external SSO sites are URLs from different domains), but this did not solve the problem.

When checking the status when an error occurs using the development tool, the following error occurs during SSO.

Failed to load resource : [URL]

net::ERR_FAILED

Example of URL that fails to load

https://api.dom.jal.co.jp/rmweb-api/authorize/token? (The following parameters are included)

https://space.ana.co.jp/auth/api/v1/authorization

Is there any solution?

Hi @佐藤 浩二 , looking at the reviews for the extension, it looks like it's generally just broken. You're not the only one having issues. You could try checking if the specific external site is added to the trusted sites list in Microsoft Edge. To do this, follow the steps below:

    1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the window.
    2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
    3. Scroll down and click on "Cookies and site permissions".
    4. Click on "Manage permissions".
    5. Under "Sites that can always use cookies", add the URL of the specific external site that is causing the error.
    6. Close the settings window and try accessing the external site again.

If the issue persists, you may want to try disabling the My Apps Secure Sign-in Extension temporarily and see if the error still occurs. If the error does not occur without the extension, let me know. I can try asking around to see if there are any updates on the status of this extension in the meantime.

Please let me know if you have any questions and I can help you further.
