Teaming probably causing SAN access issues on sql cluster

Hi, We have a two-node SQL cluster on physical servers. Teaming is enabled on the servers, probably causing issues with the cluster disks mapped from a SAN device. We are not able to access the disk management due to this problem. Should we disable Teaming on the servers or is there a specific setting we can do to fix this problem?

Thanks.

    Hey,

If your SAN is connected via iSCSI, I would recommend you to use multipathing (MPIO) instead of teaming. It usually better in terms of performance. https://www.starwindsoftware.com/blog/lacp-vs-mpio-on-windows-platform-which-one-is-better-in-terms-of-redundancy-and-speed-in-this-case-2

I would recommend you to test storage performance without teaming. You can also take a look at Switch embedded teaming instead of LACP.
