Viva Connections - No notification in Teams activity when news is posted

Hello, we are using Viva Connections + Sharepoint (M365). So our company sharepoint site is accessable in Teams through Viva Connections. I'm following the company sharepoint site but don't get any notifications (in the activity feed in Teams), when a new news was posted. But in the teams mobile app I get a notification. In our company I am not the only one with this problem. My expectation is when I follow the sharepoint site I will get a notification in Teams. Do you have any idea why this isn't working correctly? End-users only receive notifications when the following conditions are met:

The Viva Connections app is installed in Teams.

Notifications are enabled in the Teams mobile app.

The notification is outside of the user's configured Teams quiet hours.

The user has access to the news post.

If audience targeting is enabled for the news post, the user must be a part of the selected Microsoft 365 audience.

Once these conditions are met, end-users will receive a notification when news is published by someone they work closely with, or a site they follow.

Hi JimmyYang, thank you! I checked everything but I don't get a notification on my pc client. I have installed viva connections in teams, I follow the sharepoint site, I have access to the news post and audience targeting is not enabled. Like I said, on mobile device I get my notification, but not on pc client. So that means it works correctly and all conditions are met. But why I don't get a notification on teams pc client.

I think we have the same problem, like half the company has the Connections app listed under the Apps section in Notifications and Activity in Teams desktop client.
But many people don't have it.
We all have the Viva Connections installed and pinned and the same audience settings and follow the Sharepoint sites posting the News.
But it's still missing for a lot of people.
