Hello guys! I had to reinstall Windows to my laptop (due to BSOD) and the problem is that I can't make the activation. I had Windows 10 pro educational but the new installation is Windows 10 educational. I have the product ID and the CD key but it doesn't work...Is there anything I can do??? (FYI I had a local account to my laptop so the previous installation doesn't exist to my school account...) Thanks

Hello, If you have a digital license for your device, you can reinstall the same edition of Windows 10 on this device without entering a product key. Make sure that Windows 10 is activated before you try to reinstall it. To find out, select the Start button, and then select Settings > Update & Security > Activation . You’ll be able to confirm that your Windows 10 has been activated and that your Microsoft account is associated with your digital license. You can also login in official VLSC to check if the key version matches your current machine: https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx
