Window key + Arrows combination stopped working for arranging windows, at some moment. Restarting doesn't help.

Previously I used this combination for fast arranging 2 applications.

While hotkeys do generally work that way their meaning may change over time. Here's the current list of hotkeys defined by Windows 10/11. The Logo + arrow keys will tend to snap left and right the active window. The Logo + up/down keys do not move windows up and down in Win11 anymore.

If you want to change this behavior then you need to download an app to allow you to change the hotkeys. Autohotkey seems like a popular choice and here is an article that talks you through it.

Hello, Please check if there is any 3rd party app that affects the hotkeys. Even though you restart your computer, some apps may automatically startup after reboot. If you do check the 3rd party app, you may try to update your computer to the latest version.

System > Multitasking > Snap windows

Turn it On. If it is already on, turn it off, then on.

If that does not help, try rebooting windows.

(You can also find "Snap window settings" from the Search bar in the task bar.)

When I installed a Samsung Smart monitor, my Windows+Left started to malfunction occasionally: I was able to move a window from right to center but not to the left end, even though "Snap windows" was on. After turning it off and on again everything worked - until the next time. No rebooting is needed, fortunately.
