I'm trying to add a custom domain name to my Azure Static Website, but I keep on receiving the following error message: Internal server error occurred. Certificate creation failed unexpectedly. My DNS is with CloudFlare and the CNAME is setup correctly. I had a previous static website also linked to this domain, but I can't access it anymore. How can I get the new instance to update the certificate and get it working?

Based on the shared information, I understand that you are trying to add the custom domain in azure static webapp service and using the dns from the external registar.
- Have you followed these documentation steps, related to adding custom domain to static webapp from external registar ?
- Are you trying to create the custom domain as subdomain or apex domain?
- Also, you have mentioned that you have used this domain for another static website could you please share more insights what exactly the issue when you accessing the site using the custom domain.
- Can you help us with the operation id, timestamp(utc), complete error message and also share the documentation link if you are following any.

2024-03-06T15:17:04.1433333+00:00 Thank you for the feedback, and apologies for the delay in my response. I've followed the steps, I'm trying to use www for my domain, not subdomain. The old resource for the old static website seemed to be deleted, so I don't have access to it anymore.
I get an error that states : Internal Server Error occurred : Certificate Creation failed unexpectedly
