Hello All,

This is my first question here and I have been asked to disable a specific calendar notification email a user receive in our company.

When a delegated user (has Owner level permission on Calendar of her Manager) creates, updates an appointment in her Manager's Calendar, her Manager receives an email from "Microsoft Outlook Calendar no-reply@microsoft.com with the appointment subject and also "was updated on Calendar" detail.

From: Microsoft Outlook Calendar <no-reply@microsoft.com>
Date: 15 February 2024 at 17:14:18 GMT+3
To: ******@emailadress.here
Subject: appointment title + was updated on your Calendar
Reply-To: "no-reply@microsoft.com" <no-reply@microsoft.com

The question is that what cause this kind of notification to be send Manager once assistant create or update an appointment and how can this be eliminated no to send to Manager?

Any helpful answer appreciate! Thank you in advance!

    Hi @Murat AKYÜREK

    Welcome to our forum!

Based on your description, this notification email appears to be a delegate with the delegated user set up as a delegate for the manager's calendar, and the option to send a copy of the meeting-related message to the delegate is checked.

To dismiss this notification email, ask your manager to uncheck the option to send a copy of the meeting-related message to the agent.

Go to File > Account Settings > Delegate Access, select the delegate’s name, and click Permissions. Then, under Calendar, uncheck the box that says Delegate receives copies of meeting-related messages sent to me. User's image

The fix to this in new Outlook is to go to settings>Calendar>Shared Calendars>Disable Calendar Updates.
You can do this from Outlook on the web as well.
