This is an updated thread to one I posted a few days ago.
It is of minor consequence as you can just rerun the command
to complete the process. It would be nice if the whole appx
process was rather seamless and reliable. I hope the new 'container'
things dont downgrade the overall integrity of the OS.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your update.

I have checked your previous thread about this issue, and understand you encounter an unspecific error when run DISM command line to remove packages.
According to my know, it could be caused by some system component files was occupied, corruption, or applications which prefer to removed were occupied. As there is no specific error message occur, we might need to analysis C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log file to go further if you need to know what happened during command run.

At last, very appreciate for your kindly reminder about Microsoft product. It is the advice given to users like you that makes Microsoft's products complete and perfect. We accept your comments and hope that you can help us to point out more areas for improvement in the process of using Microsoft products.

    Bests,
