Hi, I am trying to ins a SCSM Data Warehous on Windows Server 2022 and SQL Server 2019 Standard and Reporting Service 2017. During the installation I get the following Error message scsm2019

An error occurred while executing a custom action:_PreRegisterExtensionsDeferred This upgrade attempt has failed before permanent modifications were made. Upgrade has successfully rolled back to the original state of the system. Once the correction are made, you can retry upgrade for this role. I added in the Registry the following KEY HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control” DWORD: “ServicesPipeTimeout” value to “600000” Reboot the server and run the installation again, the same error any idea? Is the SQL server 2019 a issue? Regards

    Hi,

    • Service Manager 2022 supports SQL 2019 with CU8 or later; however, it doesn't support SQL 2019 RTM.
    • With SQL 2019 (CU8 or later), use ODBC 17.3 to 17.10.4.1, and MSOLEDBSQL 18.2 to 18.6.6.
