Hello, is there a way to restore a corrupt template to an earlier version? Failing that, can one create a template or export to azure computer gallery a VM from the pool of deployed VMs? Thank you.

You can export a custom template directly from the Azure portal - as described at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/templates/quickstart-create-templates-use-the-portal#export-a-custom-template hth

Hi, It depends how the VM was configured and you can explore more on the options you had configured prior to setting up the VM as in Disk recovery, Backup etc - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/about-azure-vm-restore

    Hope this helps. JS
