I have free account and I am trying to create Azure automation account but it failed with the error below "bad request":
And I tried PS command with the same error.
Is this because of the free account?
Hi @Farah Al ghizzawi (Migrate Human Resources Consul) , As mentioned here, this is a known issue and we are working to fix the issue by 2/20.

You should be able to create/use an Azure Automation account with the free Azure subscription - this appears to be a transient issue

Hi @Farah Al ghizzawi (Migrate Human Resources Consul), This issue is now fixed and enabled. Azure for student and Free subscription users can create automation account in East US , East US2, West US, North Europe, South East Asia and Japan West regions.
