We have two 2019 hybrid exchange servers. Most of our mailboxes are in exchange online. The version and build on the servers are Exchange Server 2019 CU12 (2022H1) April 20, 2022 15.2.1118.7 (15.02.1118.007) Two questions: Do I need to install any previous CUs? Do I have to prepare the schema? Thank you for your help.

Hi mara2021, You do not need to install any previous CUs before installing Exchange Server 2019 CU12, because each CU is a full installation of Exchange that includes updates and changes from all previous CUs. You can install CU14 right away. The newest schema update for Exchange was the CU10 one so you should be ok to go. (The newest schema update for Exchange was the CU10 one so you should be ok to go. Hope this helps,
