Word document was sent by whatsapp and is now scrambled, how can I retrieve it?

Dear Sir/Madam. My son shared a word document with me with Whatsapp. The moment he had sent it the document was scrambled, both on my computer and his. Does anyone know how to retrieve the original document ? best Arni

Are there fields similar to "{XXXX}" in this document? Or is it all gibberish?

Please press Ctrl + F9 / ALT+fn+F9 to have a check.
