@Satyam Chauhan - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.
If you have created an Azure Databricks workspace with a free trial, you can create a cluster and it will be free for the first 14 days. During this time, you can use any node type and any number of nodes without incurring any charges. However, after the trial period ends, you will be charged for any usage beyond the free tier.
If you want to continue using Azure Databricks after the trial period, you can choose from a variety of node types and configurations to suit your needs and budget. The cost of a cluster depends on the number of nodes, the type of nodes, and the duration of usage.
For learning purposes, you can choose the smallest node type and a single node cluster to keep the cost low. The smallest node type is the DBU 4 node, which provides 1/4 of a CPU core and 1.6 GB of memory per node. You can also choose to use the standard tier instead of the premium tier to reduce the cost further.
Keep in mind that the cost of a cluster can vary depending on the workload and the amount of data processed. It's always a good idea to monitor your usage and adjust the cluster configuration as needed to optimize cost and performance.
