Hi,
When I try to run ./setup.ps1 voor lab 2 and 3 of the data engineering course I get stuck in loading the exercise.
When starting ./setup.ps1 I get this warning;
WARNING: The version '3.0.5' of module 'Az.Synapse' is currently in use. Retry the operation after closing the applications.
further installing leads to several errors;

Can you please specify the exact Learn Path (exercise/URL) where you are encountering this error?

The URL of the esercise is; https://microsoftlearning.github.io/dp-203-azure-data-engineer/Instructions/Labs/03-Transform-data-with-sql.html I am following the course [Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate] and the exercises seem to be a mix of dp-203 and new dp-500. The URL of another exercise seems to point to dp-500; https://github.com/MicrosoftLearning/DP-500-Azure-Data-Analyst/blob/main/Instructions/labs/01-analyze-data-with-sql.md Both exercise indicate to use Azure Powershell (which I did).
RDash It is an Azure Powershell. Does it still help to close local machine specific processes and files?
Hi RDash I have one subscription wich is a pay-as-you-go. In this subscription I am the Service Administrator.

Could you please follow the below steps:
1.Close PowerShell.
2.Really, close PowerShell. Open up Task Manager and find any background instances of PowerShell, as in either or both powershell.exe / pwsh.exe.
3.Delete the unwanted module folders from C:\Users${USER}\Documents\PowerShell\Modules.
If you still persist the issue, could you please provide us with the screenshot of the error with exact Learn Path under modules you are going through.

Please provide details about your Azure subscription type and the level of access, including screenshots if possible. Please note that the exercise cannot be completed without an Azure subscription with administrative access.
