    @ares ,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A Platform. Thank you for reaching out & I hope you are doing well.

    I understand that you would like to use Azure ExpressRoute Global Reach.

    • Please note that the intent and use case of Azure ExpressRoute Global Reach is to provide connectivity across OnPrems connected to ExpressRoute Circuits.
    • This means, it is not intended to provided Transit connectivity across Azure Virtual Networks.
    • To have transit connectivity between VNETs, make sure you link the VNETs to all ExpressRoute Circuits.
    • This is explained in About ExpressRoute Global Reach

    With that said,

    Wrt number of connections,

    Global Reach connections count against the limit of virtual network connections per ExpressRoute Circuit. For example, a 10 Gbps Premium Circuit would allow for 5 Global Reach connections and 95 connections to the ExpressRoute Gateways or 95 Global Reach connections and 5 connections to the ExpressRoute Gateways or any other combination up to the limit of 100 connections for the circuit.

    See : Virtual networks links allowed for each ExpressRoute circuit limit.

    Kindly let us know if this helps or you need further assistance on this issue.

    Thanks,

    Kapil
