Opening and closing Visual Studio without errors

Hello I have downloaded and extracted Visual Studio 2015 Enterprise, but unfortunately, when I open the installation file without error, I have a problem, and Visual opens and closes after 1 second. It is interesting that I had Visual Studio 2012 and when I try to uninstall it, it opens again and closes after 1 second. Please help me because I have been struggling with this problem for about 20 days

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Do you mean that the VS2015 can’t be launched after successfully installing it? Or does it crash when you install the VS2015?

If you have any anti-virus software or privilege management software, please temporarily disable them.

If it failed to install, please re-download the Visual Studio Enterprise 2015 with Update 3 from the page and move it to a clean folder in another drive.

Or try to put the installation file in root of C drive like C:\setup.exe and run it.

If you want to uninstall VS2012, you can go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > search ‘Visual Studio 2012’ > right click on it > select ‘Uninstall’ or ‘Change’.

If it doesn’t work, you can use the Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter tool to uninstall it.

What is your Operating System? Can you check for the Windows update and ensure it is up-to-date?

Can you install or uninstall software other than VS? Please have a try with the following steps: open Windows Settings ( Windows + I ) > Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Windows Update > Run the troubleshooter, which attempts to identify any problems with your computer.

Yes, I can install or uninstall other software. I have done this method before and there was no malware problem

Thank you for your follow up. No need anymore because I was able to install VS2019 and it works properly.

Of course, it is strange that 2015 or 2012, which are not on the Microsoft site, cannot be installed or uninstalled
