Refinitiv stock data not picking up new tickers (symbols) from major US exchanges - how long is the usual delay?

Posted at answers.microsoft.com, the moderator suggested cross-posting here. Here are four tickers that started trading on major US exchanges in January 2024 that are not yet available in the data. I can't find anything on the "expected" delay for new tickers. Refinitiv refuses to answer support questions for Excel stock data type, they only answer for their own commercial product customers. XNAS:AVBP XNAS:CGON XNYS:MFAN BATS:FBTC (several other FBTC entries appear for example from the German Borse, but not the CBOE/BZX "BATS" entry)

    Hi @Brad Stauf

    Sorry to disappoint you.

I tested "XNAS:AVBP" via Stockhistory formula, but I couldn't get any information, there was a "#value" error.

But there are currently no relevant resources in the Q&A forum to know when these stock data will be available through functions such as Excel Stocks. If you have tried contacting the data provider Refinitiv and had no luck, I suggest you submit feedback within Excel like I did. Thanks for your understanding. Please go to Excel > Help > Feedback and submit the feedback on this issue. This will be the easiest way for Excel development team to find out what's going on. 20240220
