Does Delta API guarantee ordering while tracking OneDrive file changes

Hi Team,

I was going through Delta API to track changes to OneDrive items. Does this API guarantee that changes to items are returned in a top down manner i.e. If I consider file hierarchy as tree, changes for the root level are returned first, then second level item changes are returned and so on.
