Hello,

One PC experiences a very stange problem since installation of a new DC Windows 2022 21H2.

Not connected to the domain, the PC works fine.
Connected to the previous DC (W2016), the PC was working fine.

But, with the new DC, RAM use raise to 100% in a few minutes.

Upgrade to 16GB RAM : same problem.
Full reinstall of Windows 10 (with latest drivers and Windows updates) : same problem.
Full reinstall of Windows 11 (with latest drivers and Windows updates) : same problem.

This PC (the newest) is the only experiencing this problem.

Do you have any idea of the root cause ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello, According to your discription, the system process seems to run 100% RAM. You can first try disable Sysmain which is also called as superfetch. There are some different ways to disable it:

    1. Press Windows key + R, type ‘services.msc’ and press Enter. When you’re prompted by the UAC (User Account Control), click Yes to grant admin access.
    2. Once you’re inside the Services screen, locate the service named Sysmain, right-click on it and choose Properties.
    3. Inside the Properties screen of SysMain, click on the General tab, then set the Startup type to Disabled by using the associated drop-down menu. Then, click on Stop if the service is already running.
    4. Click Apply to save the changes, then close the Services screen and restart your computer. Once the next startup is complete, you should not experience the same kind of resource usage by System. Best regards,
