Auto Populate Microsoft Lists

Is it possible to have an automatic number value for a new entry into a list, as an ID? For example, my first column is called ID and I would like it to populate the column starting from 1 and counting up every time a new item is added via an app or a new item is added directly on to the list. Is it also possible to auto populate the entry date of the new item being added for the same date it is added to the list. Thank you

Microsoft Lists already has an automatic ID column (ID), which has an incremental value from 1, along with an entry date (under the Created On column).

If you are unable to see these columns, right-click on one of your headers and select the "Show/Hide" columns, option. You will then be able to select the "ID", and "Created On" columns to view.

    Hope this helps!
