Hello, I've had this font problem that I would like you to solve. I'm doing a project using PowerPoint, and I type in Chinese. However, every time I start a new text, it changes the font back to the original font. I would really appreciate it if we could start new text boxes and have the same font for that text. Thank you

If you enter in Text Box, please right-click one which includes the text applied right font or other formats, choose "Set as Default Text Box".

My test environment is Microsoft 365 Apps on Windows. From your screenshot, you are using Office for Mac, but the Set as Default Text Box is also available.
Please click the outside or the edge of the text box to select the box rather than any text within it.
