I'm using the free tier and currently being charged on the public IP, what's the solution?

    Basic dynamically assigned public IP addresses cost about $0.004/hour Alternatively, you can manage VMs via Azure portal (without relying on public connectivity), including the option of running PowerShell/Bash commands/scripts against them.

    Alternatively, if you want to access an Azure Virtual Machine (VM) without using a paid public IP, you can consider using Azure Just-In-Time VM Access. Implement Azure Just-In-Time VM access using Azure Security Center. This feature reduces exposure to attacks while providing easy access when you need to connect to a VM. It allows you to open specific ports for a limited time window when necessary.
