Hi SKWIRRL,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A.
Try reboot --> keep pressing F8 to see if you can get into Advanced Boot Options , please try this 2-3 times , and as soon as you turn it on, start pushing the button.
Once you can get into the Advanced Boot Options, use following commands to close auto repair.
Choose Repair Your Computer to boot into WinRE --> open Command Prompt
First use diskpart to find your OSdisk (dir to see which disk has windows folder), then switch to that partition and then run the command
Bcdedit /set {default} advancedoptions on
Bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No
After auto-repair mode is disabled, you can see what errors are reported when normal mode starts and you can stay at Advanced Options when you boot the machine.
Best regards,
Molly
