Microsoft Teams - Make existing Team to an org-wide

Hi,

is there any way to make an existing Team org-wide?
I've found nothing about this and the powershell commands only allow public or private.

Hi @Marcel-1650 ,

In my experience, Global admins can convert an existing team to an org-wide team by editing it in Teams client. Go to the team name, click More options >Edit team.

Ok, yeah I'm stupid...
I didn't see that at all, always looked in under "manage team" or in the admin panel.

So I know this is three years old, but I am asking because search has pointed me in the direction of making a team edit to be an org-wide team. Org-wide is not an option for me.

I can only choose Private and Public. Is Org-Wide no longer an option? Before I keep following a possible endless rabbit hole... please.

I am:

• global administrator
• member/owner on team in question
• team is brand new, created a few weeks ago
• i don't even see this option for a brand new team creation
