Hi Team,
I am trying to install Log analytics MMA agent on linux machine. This linux machine is configured as syslog listening on port 514 and the MMA agent should listen on port 25226 (Cef format) and port 25224 (standard format). However its not listening on 25226 or 25224.
Below is the status of the syslog box:

Log Analytics agent also referred to as Microsoft Monitoring Agent (MMA) is on a deprecation path and won't be supported after August 31, 2024. If you use the Log Analytics agent to ingest data to Azure Monitor, migrate to the new Azure Monitor agent prior to that date. Do you still wish to proceed with troubleshooting this issue? If so please let me know the Linux OS and version and syslog package you have installed. -
