Problem with the media streams

Hi

I am using Windows 11 23H2 Enterprise and have enabled media streams to play various videos on the Samsung UE32J6300 Smart-TV.

Even though I have allowed this Smart-TV to receive the media streams from the Windows Control Panel and if the TV is visible from File Explorer in the Network section, when I choose the "Stream to Device" item from the Pop-Up menu of a media file on File Explorer, the name of the Smart-TV is not displayed even though it is turned on. How come?

Thanks

Bye

    Hello,

Based on your description, my understanding is that there is no smart-TV option when right click medial file and try to open it with "Stream to Device".

Please make sure media stream is turned on via:

Control Panel \ Network and Internet\ Network and Sharing Center

Then, open Windows Media Player, right click the file and choose the option Play to device. And confirm that if you can choose the smart TV.

Also, please make sure the smart TV supports DLNA.
