Azure VPN Client Disconnects After a Few Seconds

We currently host an Azure VPN gateway in the US West data center that our users use to get to our local resources and for any US based employees there's no issues. However, we recently brought on some users on the other side of the globe and they're have intermittent issues. Sometimes they can connect fine and keep a connection for a time, but other time they connect and after appox 30 secs it disconnects and gives the error that "No such host is known." despite connecting fine for a short time. To this point I've tried different versions of the Azure VPN client, a fresh connection file, and altering their DNS settings to google's and all of them still get the same issues. The only thing I can figure is it's their network having to connect to a P2S on the other side of the planet and and there might just be packet loss.

What troubleshooting have you done so far to ensure this is a connection issue between you and Azure, or perhaps it is just packet loss in general on those corporate networks.
