Why does class view think everything is an inherited class

I recently did the reset of Visual Studio setting. For the last few days I have been restoring what it got rid of (it did fix the problems I was having with the debugger) and now I find something that I would like an explanation of. When I go to Class View and input a property or field name it come back with a "Seach found no results". Now if I just do a text search it finds the property and all the references. This was not as it was so I search for an answer and none was shown in the search. I then clicked the Class View Setting and Show Inherited Members was not selected. Selecting it caused the property to be shown. Now the definition of the class that the property was defined in is: public class ScorersViewModel : INotifyPropertyChanged Nothing inherited about it. The definition of the property was: public List<PlayerYearStats2> displayScorers2 again nothing inherited. So my question is why does VS think it is and not show it when the option is not selected. The current version of VS that I am using is Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2022 (64-bit) - Current Version 17.7.7
