Hi,

Can events be changed on calendars in Outlook that have been populated by Teams? I have invite events (that I created in a scheduling tab calendar that I added to Teams) that is populating my main calendar in Outlook. I would like to move these events to a separate calendar because they are other people's events and getting in the way of my own. However, there is no option to change them when I click on them in outlook (the Edit button is not there).

Is there some work around? Or some way to make another calendar the one populated in teams?

Hi, A calendar channel (sorry, changed the name) added to the Teams page. It has the option of which team to schedule events for, but no option to change which calendar it populates in Outlook.

As long as a meeting in the channel calendar was created by you, the meeting will automatically populate into your main Outlook calendar. This is by design. Also, channel meetings cannot be edited in Outlook.

Thanks for the info. That's a poor design. Do you then know if there is any way to create calendars in Teams that won't completely fill the outlook calendar? Is there some outside application that will do this? E: I'm answering my own question. I can add other calendar apps that will function just in the Team channel, but can't populate the main calendar. So now the main calendar isn't overrun, but I have calendars in two different applications to check.

As you said, the best way right now is to add other calendar apps to the channel.

To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
