I activated a student subscription a year ago and have exhausted the credits and the billing period ended on February 24th, 2024. Now, I'm unable to reactivate the subscription. As far as I know, it should be reactivated every 12 months, but for some reason, I'm not eligible for another student subscription. How can I reactivate the subscription?

If you accidentally canceled your Azure for Students subscription, you can reactivate it by contacting Azure support. Once you reactivate, you still have access to the remaining credit and free services for 12 months from your sign-up date.
I did not cancel the subscription but the credits got exhausted. But as far I know the credits are supposed to be restored every 12 months but that did not happen.
I think you have forgotten to delete your resources after using it, If you exhaust your available credit before 12 months and you want to continue to use Azure, you can upgrade to a pay-as-you-go subscription in the Azure portal. If you do not upgrade, your Azure subscription becomes disabled. If you’re at the end of 12 months, you can renew your subscription by signing up again for the offer. According to the FAQ you are supposed to re-apply at the end of the 12 months. Did you apply for the offer again?

If you are no longer eligible for Azure for Students you could convert your account to pay as you go.
