Dear Community,

Currently we are planning to migrate to Office 365 from an Exchange 2013 Server. Unfortunately our Autodiscover is not functioning correctly. This problem is very frustrating, and we can't figure it out. Internal as external Autodiscover doesn't seem to function right. I have user Microsoft Test connectivity and I get an Error 500 post notification.

https://autodiscover.mydomain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml gives back an error 600. This seems to function right. In ECP under virtual directories all internal and external directories seemed to be set correct. DNS records also point to the correct ip adres.

In the past Autodiscover had worked, but internal only. This seems to malfunction as wel.

Does anyone has tips for solving this problem?

    Hi,

Check the AutodiscoverServiceInternalURI in Get-ClientAccessServer and it should be set to https://autodiscover.mydomain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml

If the above URL returns "600 Invalid request" internally that means autodiscover is working fine from the server end and that's the expected page.

What is the error when you run EXRCA https://testconnectivity.microsoft.com/tests/exchange for autodiscover

If its an issue with external, you may have to check with your network team for any communication issues. Usually, the flow will be AutoDiscover DNS Public IP -> Perimeter Firewall -> NAT -> Core network -> Load Balancer -> Exchange. It has to be checked if the external requests are reaching the exchange server.

Maybe I misunderstand your description, have you migrated the Exchange server to O365 already?
Please post the results of EXRCA in Exglish (settings in right upper) with full error information, your picture seems not include the key information.

Problem has been solved through building the directory again.
In the time between my last update, and today the migration to Microsoft 365 has been succesful.

Thank you for your help @community
