Color emojis are showing only in the Windows key+ ; menu, but anywhere else they are monochrome with the Windows 8 design, some of them showing as squares after typing them. When Ichecked the installed emojis, "Segoe UI emoji" was missing, i downloaded it but when i tried to add it in the list it says "the file 'example' does not appear to be a valid font", even if the file is TTF! i hate this problem, i searched a lot on the internet to found a working method, but nothing worked... Hello,

Press Win + ; and confirm that if you can open the color emojins list.

If the emojis menu displays normally, and display problem only happens after entering the Enter, it is affected by the application, application configuration etc. For example, if you type color emojins into Notepad, it will display in black and white. If you type color emojis into other 3rd party application, browser etc. It may display garbled characters or other characters.
