Visual Studio 17 Closing On Its Own

Good afternoon, all -

Recently, when working on SSIS in Visual Studio, the program will simply up and close on me. Usually, it happens when I've switched windows to work on something else, but today it closed while I had a Send Email task open and working on the expression.

Is anyone familiar with this problem?

Please kindly try to update Visual Studio 2017 and SSIS to the latest version. For Visual Studio 2017, currently, the latest version is Visual Studio 2017 v15.9.29, and you can update it from Visual Studio Installer > Visual Studio 2017 > Update. And for SSIS, you can follow this document: Upgrade Integration Services to update SSIS.

If this issue still persists, it seems this issue is a potential issue, I recommend you report this issue to VS Product Team directly on our Developer Community (Launch VS > Help > Send Feedback > Report a Problem…), and you will get more professional help there.
