I’ve noticed I’m unable to get responses to certain prompts as if there’s some behind the scenes moderation/ filter that I never activated. Never had this problem when directly using OpenAI.
Any suggestions on how to disable this? CleanShot 2024-02-26 at 00.50.51@2x CleanShot 2024-02-26 at 00.59.20@2x

AdamSardo-9959 Greetings & Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

I’ve noticed I’m unable to get responses to certain prompts as if there’s some behind the scenes moderation/ filter that I never activated. Never had this problem when directly using OpenAI.
Any suggestions on how to disable this?

I understand that you are able to get results from OpenAI and same is not working with Azure OpenAI.

Please note that, Azure OpenAI Service includes a content filtering system that works alongside core models.

This could be due to the content filters.

All customers have the ability to modify the content filters to be stricter (for example, to filter content at lower severity levels than the default). Approval is required for turning the content filters partially or fully off. Managed customers only may apply for full content filtering control via this form: Azure OpenAI Limited Access Review: Modified Content Filters and Abuse Monitoring (microsoft.com).

In addition to the content filtering system, the Azure OpenAI Service performs monitoring to detect content and/or behaviors that suggest use of the service in a manner that might violate applicable product terms. For more information about understanding and mitigating risks associated with your application, see the Transparency Note for Azure OpenAI.

For more information about how data is processed in connection with content filtering and abuse monitoring, see Data, privacy, and security for Azure OpenAI Service.

Also, See Overview of Responsible AI practices for Azure OpenAI models and Customizing a model with fine-tuning.

I hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any further queries.
