Authenticator App not showing any codes numbers for approval

When I try to access my (small business) work account using the Authenticator App, it tells me to approve the number - there is NO number in my up-to-date App. Nor are there any (timed/changing) verification codes in my App. I am the administrator for the business and we have recently reset all passwords as roles/positions have changed. We obviously didn't have mobile numbers turned on as an option, since I don't get this as an option when I 'try a different way'. Please help - we are all desperate to log into our new accounts.
