How to connect to Azure SQL Server using Azure P2S VPN client?

Hi,
I have azure vpn client configured on my local machine. I am able to connect to vnet gateway through vpn client . Now I want to connect to azure sql server from the local machine using azure vpn client.
And I am getting this error.

Let’s troubleshoot this step by step:
- Named Pipes and TCP/IP: Confirm that both Named Pipes and TCP/IP protocols are enabled for your SQL Server instance. You can check this in SQL Server Configuration Manager: Look under SQL Server Network Configuration. Ensure that both protocols are enabled.
- Service Restart Restart the SQL Server service (MSSQLSERVER) from the Local Services window in the Control Panel. Sometimes a service restart resolves connectivity issues.
- Connection String Format: If you’re connecting from code, ensure that your connection string is correctly formatted. Use the following format:
Server=tcp:servername.database.windows.net,1433;Database=mydb;User ID=myuser;Password=mypassword;Encrypt=true;TrustServerCertificate=false;Connection Timeout=30;- Backslash vs. Forward Slash: Double-check that you’re using the correct slash character (
\or/) in your server name. It should be a backslash (\) for SQL Server. - SQL Server Developer Edition: If you’re using SQL Server Developer Edition, ensure that TCP/Named pipes settings are correctly configured. By default, TCP/Named pipes are disabled in Developer Edition.
