As you can see, the row and column in blue and white are blank; there is no data. I grouped the data by rows and columns to achieve this table format, but somehow, when I select the parameter value to 'select all,' it results in a blank column in every 'SectionNumber' on page breaks. I also tried using IIF(Nothing) values, then IFF(LEN()), and Trim values, but none of these approaches worked. Can you help me solve this problem?
It sounds like you need a WHERE clause to filter out the rows you don't want. But from what you've supplied in the question (every value scribbled out), it's a challenge to know what you're talking about with SectionNumber for example. Also, where are you putting this query? Is it in a reporting tool?
If you are trying to eliminate blank strings, and make them NULL, you can do this: NULLIF(ISNULL(TRIM(ColumnName), ''), ''). That would turn any column with no text or just spaces or is NULL back to NULL. But it sounds like you might want that in a WHERE clause.
