I'm unable to get verification code on MS Authenticator app on my new phone. Try to login to my MS mail a/c. After a valid user id and password, it's asking me to enter verification code sent to MS Auth app. But it's not yet set up on my new phone. All alternative ways to sign in lead to this app only!

    Hi @Girish Aithal

If it's not possible to use a backup to restore Authenticator configuration on your phone , unfortunately , the only solution is to ask your administrator to reset your MFA registration for your Azure account. If you have another account you should contact support of target site to apply recovery procedure in case of issue to use Double authentocation .

    Hello Dear @Girish Aithal

As Thameur-BOURBITA mentioned above, this is not somethin you can mange by yourself. Since, you have a new phone, you can contact your Azure Active Directory Administrator to re-register for MFA.

    Here are the steps:

    • Sign in to the Azure portal.
    • On the left, select Azure Active Directory > Users > All users.
    • Choose your account->select Authentication methods and click "Require re-registration for MFA".

To register new phone, admin should continue with "Require re-register MFA" option and than you will be asked to register for MFA in the very first attempt to login on one of services require MFA with your company account.
