I added Reddit.com to my whitelist and can sort of go to Reddit. Windows notification is listing a couple sites it says it can't get to. Is there a way to setup one rule that will cover all sub-domains and such like doing reddit.com/* or such (which doesn't work). If I try to go to something like https://www.reddit.com/r/meraki/comments/cuf67a/where_to_sell_meraki_equipment/ it says it is blocked by the policy. I also have these show up, as well as v.redd.it.

And review all the rules so that there are no such rules that block sub-domains. If you don’t have rules that block these sub-domains, then perhaps you are using Web content filtering . Because Web content filtering works with Blocked Categories , so maybe reddit got into one of them. Note: The indicator with the longer URL path wins over the indicator with the shorter URL path. I am guessing it did fall under social media maybe but since it doesn't say what category it fell under. What is it with companies having this aversion to saying what policy or such blocked the website. Would make administering it easier. This describes any article Microsoft has ever written for a KB. Why make one document that covers everything when you can make 12 about 12 parts of something and then have to figure out how to find the other 11 parts.

Most of these products have separate documentations, there is no single documentation page that contains all the information about exclusions available in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

Yes, this is a big problem for Microsoft due to the large number of products and documentation. Try removing the Web content filtering policy from this endpoint and see if this helps you. Good luck!)
