When migrating my imported taxonomy from SP 2016 to SPO, If I update values from an imported column point to a Term give me “the given guid does not exist in the term store” if I upload a new one I can tag everything without problems. Is there any way to fix this error, sync or do anything to this terms be available for the migrated documents?

Hi @CASIDennis,

One possible solution is to upload a new column and tag everything without problems. Another option is to ensure that the term store is properly configured and that the necessary permissions are set. It is recommended to use the SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) to migrate managed metadata, and to ensure that only one Managed Metadata Service (MMS) term store is set as the default for the site collection. If more than one site collection term store is marked as the default, the SharePoint Migration Tool may not be able to determine which term store to migrate, which can break managed metadata columns that refer to the term store content.
