Move SCCM system folder to another disk drive

Hi Support,

Our SCCM installed on the “E:\program files\Microsoft Configuration Manager”, and all of the application package folder save on D:. We found there are many system folder locate on D:\ also, can we move them to the E:\ ?

  • SCCMContentLib
  • SMS_DP$
  • SMSPKGD$
  • SMSPKGSIG
  • SMSSIG$

    Yes, we can use the Content Library Transfer tool to transfer content from one disk drive to another.

    Run ContentLibraryTransfer.exe as a user with administrative permissions on the distribution point.

    ContentLibraryTransfer –SourceDrive D –TargetDrive E

    I once tried someting like that, and it didn't workout, even I did change all the paths via registery. I believe SQL DB has also some data inside of paths, I never bothered to change that, just rolled back.
