I lost my accounts on MS auth when transfering to new phone and now I can't log into an account becasue I can't generate a login code.

Question

I recently had to get a new phone. When I set up my MS auth app on my new phone my saved accounts for 2FA didn't transfer over.

I am now trying to gain access to one of my accounts (I have my login username and password) but I am unable to generate a one time use login code on MS auth. I have contacted tech support from this account and they said

• "I understand the request that you are making, but unfortunately we are unable to manually assist in situations where access to an authenticator has been lost"

So I need to regain access to my login codes for this account so I can regain access to my account.

I have messaged your tech support but they have advised me that it is out of the scope of work. Ref. code 7036089230
