Journal Playback Hooks

Good morning,

I have a question about the Journal Playback Hooks (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/winmsg/journalplaybackproc). On this page I find the quote: "are unsupported starting in Windows 11 and will be removed in a future release". As I rely on this functionality, I am interested to know if this API is currently still available in Windows 11. If yes, is it known by when the API will finally be removed? If not, is there a way to work around this restriction and still have access to the API?

Best regards,

Elias

    Hello, @DasElias,

It should be shown on the JournalPlaybackProc page and Windows 11 update history after removed. And as document said,

Because of this, we highly recommend calling the SendInput TextInput API instead.
