Hello, for my Laptop with Windows 11 I have two WiFi adapters. One of them I want to bind to a specific SSID of a device, which is acting like a access point, but without routing or gateway to the internet. This adapter should only connect to this SSID. The other adapter should connect to known networks like usual, but never to this specific SSID. Is there any possibility to assign network profiles to a specific adapter? To make it clear, what I want: the internal Wifi adapter could connect to every WiFi, except the specific SSID. The external WiFi adapter can only connect to the specific SSID.

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

Please kindly follow below steps to achieve the purpose:

    1. Press "Win + R" and run "secpol.msc" to open Local Security Policy.

2.Navigate to Security Settings > Wireless Network (IEEE 802.11) Policies.

3.Right-click and "Create A New Wireless Network Policy for Windows Vista and Later Releases."

4.Create a policy and click "Add" to add a new condition.

5.Choose "SSID" as the condition type and enter the SSID of the networks you want to exclude. Set the "Permission" to "Deny."

6.Create another new policy allowing connection to the specific SSID.

    7.Open Network and Sharing Center.

8.Click on "Change adapter settings" on the left panel.

9.Go to "Advanced" > "Advanced Settings."

10.In the "Advanced Settings" window, move the adapter to change the priority.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
