Outlook is crashing randomly for a user. Most likely it happens when user is sending Email. . The event log is as follows:

Faulting application name: OUTLOOK.EXE, version: 16.0.17231.20236, time stamp: 0x65c76da2 Faulting module name: mso.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x65c76b1d Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x002fb8d2 Faulting process id: 0x3114 Faulting application start time: 0x01da65e5c6cea199 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Office16\mso.dll

Have tried SFC scan - online repair, Complete uninstall and reinstall, MA SARA, recreating mail profile, running in safe mode, disabling all ad-ins...  Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

    Hi @Syed Shah ,

    Welcome to our forum!

What's the version of your Outlook client? (File>Office Account>About Outlook) Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook and Windows to the latest version.

And does this issue occur recently? If so, have you done any specific operations before that? Such as installing some programs and running some scripts? Considering the impact of some third-party programs on your computer, please try to perform a clean boot for windows and check if the issue still occurs.

In addition, i found that some user mentioned that the issue may be resolved by command: outlook.exe /cleanviews. Just try the following to check if the issue persists: Start > Run > outlook.exe /cleanviews.

    Hope to help you!
