I have a question over azure alias index in Azure search

Is Azure alias index stable version will released in this year. Mean while can we go to with preview version in production ?

    Whether a stable version of Azure alias index will be released within a specific timeframe is something only Microsoft Azure's product team can confirm and you can follow below link yo check https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/searchservice/search-service-api-versions

    However, regarding using preview versions of Azure services in production environments, it's generally not recommended. Preview versions are meant for testing and evaluation purposes and may not have undergone thorough testing or be feature-complete. They may also be subject to changes, including breaking changes, without prior notice.

    Currently, we do not have an ETA to share for the GA release yet.

    As Deepanshu mentioned (above), preview versions are not recommended for production environments.

    Please be assured that I have relayed the feedback to our product engineering team. As soon as we have an update, I'll share it here.
