GPO Set mail to keep offline for an IMAP account

Good morning,

I am looking to create a policy that define the mail interval to keep offline for an IMAP account.

I found in the registry the DWORD value "IMAP months to sync" in "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Profiles\Outlook\9375CFxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx6676\0000000x"

How to apply a 1 month retention period for all users?

The goal is to reduce the space used by OST files.

Thanks,

Cedric.

    Hi @Cedric ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Based on my research, i didn't found any GPO to set the cache email for IMAP account, but only for Exchange account.

The goal is to reduce the space used by OST files.

And i notice that you want to reduce the size of data file, we can try the following:

    Archive in Outlook for Windows

    Hope to help you!
